His ability to overcome the unimaginable abuse he has suffered and to finally trust in humans again.
Draco is a survivor. He has passed the point of no return now and every day he wins another victory that pushes his passed life further away. He has learned to play with his doggie friends and he even greets those he trusts with a waggy tail and a push of his wet nose. The moments when he comes to your side for reassurance are priceless.
We don’t know if he will ever be completely free of his fears, but with the right environment and the right companion by his side, he can certainly live a happy and contented life in a real home.
