When the gorgeous Fina arrived at APROP, after being found wandering alone in Adsubia, her little body was riddled with shotgun pellets. As you can see from her X-ray, there were so many of them that it’s amazing she managed to survive.  One eye had to be urgently removed as a result.

One of the other pellets is lodged very close to her left ear and has led to an infection that produces unpleasant mucus and painful inflammation.  She has had treatment which works for a while but then the infection returns. She really needs an MRI scan so our vet can decide upon the best course of action going forward.

The scan will cost 800€, which is why we have created this appeal.  Despite her appalling treatment at the hands of humans, Fina is an affectionate and friendly tabby girl. She was already sterilised, sociable and house-trained when she arrived, so she was clearly once a pet. At six years of age, she is in the prime of her life and is desperate to spend the rest of it with a loving family who can give her all the cuddles she wants (and deserves).
